Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Qatar Q4 2023

During the fourth quarter of 2023, the travel and local app market in Qatar witnessed varied performance trends across the top 5 apps on the Android platform. Below, we provide an overview of the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for each app.

TaxiF - A Better Way to Ride saw a notable increase in weekly downloads in October, peaking at approximately 23K in the week of October 23. However, downloads declined steadily to around 6.4K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, with a peak of about 44.2K in late October before decreasing to 34.4K in the last week of December.

Nusuk (Eatmarna Previously) experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 907 in late September and reaching up to 2.4K by mid-December. Active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 11K to over 14.2K by the end of the quarter.

Qatar Rail downloads exhibited fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at around 2K in late October and then gradually declined to just over 900 by the end of December.

Qatar Airways maintained a relatively stable download rate, fluctuating between 1K and 1.3K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent, starting at 3.5K in late September and ending at 3.4K in December.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.1K in late September and reaching 1.3K by the last week of December. Active users also demonstrated growth, increasing from 18.1K to nearly 20K by the end of the quarter.
